What is Spyware?

"Spyware" is another name for a virus.
Any computer that has an internet connection will get infected with spyware.

Windowx XP is like a magnet for Spyware.

Anti-Spyware is available.
Some programs like AdAware are quick and remove most infections.
Some programs like Spybot, remove infections and can immunize against future infections.
You should try more than 1, when infected.


How to run Spyware
Most programs will need you to click 2 times to fix your computer.
Click once to check for problems
Then after the scan, click on "Fix selected problems".

Some programs may also have a button to "immunize".
